- Dwello supports same-gender roommate matching (male with male, female with female).
- Signed-out visitors can preview the directory with limited profile data.
- Signed-in users can browse full profile details and message access after completing phone verification, ID verification, and questionnaire requirements. Profile verification is still required for a profile to appear in the directory.
- Messaging requires authentication. Starting new conversations can also require trust signals set by the recipient (for example ID, church, profile verification, or background checks).
- Profile verification is required for a profile to appear in the directory and can also be required by hosts before new conversations.
- Church verification is optional and adds an extra trust signal.
